American shortbread 1

Ingredients for dough
170g butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
apricot jam
500ml flour
Ingredients for topping
1 egg
250ml coconut
125ml sugar
knead all dough ingredients and roll out into a baking tray.
spread apricot jam over the dough.
bake at a moderate temperature for about 20 to 30 minutes.
