4 cup self-raising flour
300 ml lemonade
300 ml cream
non-stick cooking spray
Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a baking tray with cooking spray.
Place the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the middle. Pour in the lemonade and cream and mix gently, cutting through the flour with a metal spoon or knife. Do not overwork the mixture.
Once combined, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and cut with a scone cutter.
Place the dough shapes onto the baking tray and brush with tops with milk before baking in the oven for 15-20 mins.
Remove and allow to cool slightly before cutting open.
Serve with jam and cream, or enjoy a savoury version by adding cheese.
